About Me

Artist Statement

My current art practice is primarily digital, using both 3D and 2D mediums to convey messages. My work tends to fall into two categories thematically, memories, and identity. My memories are explored through 3D modelling, revolving around creating scenes from my past and creating scenes that explore my childhood memories from the perspective of my inner child. Creating scenes that work to explain my childhood memories and explain my feelings about the spaces and situations through metaphors.  My work surrounding identity uses 2D digital and animated work to touch on my identity as a plus size, queer, non-binary person navigating the world. Using both personal and mythological stories to convey my message. The characters within these stories are all plus size or of average size as my goal is to represent real bodies and stories centring around marginalized queer identities.
